С месяц назад упал трафик на блог с яндекса, причем хорошо так упал: до нуля Дай-ка, думаю, гляну индекс… Хопа на, а блог не в индексе. А накануне прочитал еще у Будущего миллионера, что его блог с индекса полетел. Ну мой то ладно, ссылками баловался, домен не в ру зоне и т.д., а его? Как-то не очень…

Жуткий опыт работы с Yahoo PPC

Для продвижение некоего товара на западе решил попробовать yahoo ppc – http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/. В добавок к, уже успешно используемому, адвордсу от гугл.

Теперь раскрываю неприятные моменты, с которыми пришлось столкнутся:

1) При регистрации вы можете выбрать только одну зону (страну) таргетинга для вашего аккаунта, в дальнейшем поменять ее нельзя! Саппорт предложил какое-то решение с субаккаунтом, но по сути, это все равно что создать новый. Будучи «наивным чукотским ребенком» я внес оплату до того, как узнал о таком нюансе в работе системы, что-то около сотни $. При регистрации указал регион, который не в приоритете для моего товара (кто ж думать мог, что международный геотаргетинг не доступен для аккаунта).

2) По умолчанию вашу кредитку будут доить до тех пор, пока вы не потребуете ручного пополнения счета. Происходит это так: как средства на балансе заканчиваются, яху мило заботится о вас, автоматически снимая деньги со счета (каждый раз по $30). Я думал, что пускай деньги закончатся, да аккаунт закрыть нафиг. Так не, придется еще потратить 60 баксов на рекламу, от которой нет отдачи.

Выводы: внимательно читаем соглашение, под которым ставим галочку и нажимаем «I agree». Это правило касается любого сервиса, в котором вы регистрируетесь. И уж, тем более, там, где производите оплату. Иначе можно попасть на деньги.

На новый год мне подарили забавную вещицу – Powerball. Это гироскопический тренажер для кисти. Как раз хорошо подходит для тех, чья рука 20 часов в сутки управляет компьютерной мышью. У меня модель без счетчика, надо будет докупить, а то без него не особо интересно. Вообщем, подарок хороший.
